Qigong is not for fighting, but for maintaining and enhancing health, for self-development and prolonging life. Other traditional Chinese skills such as martial arts also enhance health and build character, but their purpose is self-defense and combat.

Kunlun Dayan, or Wild Goose, Qigong has a long history: over many generations it has been refined to be effective and safe. The knowledge and experience of many masters is embodied in its skill.
