We had Brisbane temperatures this year of around 38 degrees along with high humidity, so all the fans were on and lots of water was needed. We held two evening seminars, one to finish off the Releasing Sick Qi Gong that we started last year, and the other to get us started with Peaceful and Calm Meditation, which will continue next year. Then we held the weekend seminar of Enlightenment Gong; our students find this form very stimulating and practise regularly together, so Sigong really polished it in depth before adding more. It's so intricate and fascinating that no one is in too much of a hurry to finish it.
Then it was off to Wellington for another set of seminars. Two Australian students accompanied us to NZ this year, one for the first time. The Wellington weather cheered up for us and the Wellington teachers and students were as welcoming as ever. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy a real community with our neighbours across the Tasman via the Tse Qigong Centre.
It's a long way for Sigong to come every year and a long program that he runs, so we all appreciate his dedication and tireless efforts to pass on the skills.
